This cart is a unique throwback to New York’s colorful past. Brooklyn and Coney Island were hot spots where people congregated for recreation, sporting events, amusements, carnivals, theatre, and food! Egg creams, which were also called, “two-cents plain” (because they cost a whopping 2 cents) were as common-place as Pepsi is today. Egg creams were served with a salted pretzel rod (for stirring purposes), and ironically, contain no eggs. The delicious drink is simply a refreshing mixture of carbonated soda-water, milk, and either vanilla, or Fox’s U-Bet Chocolate Syrup. Ask your grandparents about egg creams, if they’re from NY…they’ll remember! This cart can be supplied with, or without food products, and with, or without a uniformed server.
